2022 WORKERS DAY AND EID-EL-FITR COMMEMORATIONS: ENUGU CP, ABUBAKAR ORDERS MAXIMUM DEPLOYMENT OF POLICE PERSONNEL
• Felicitates with workers and Muslims in Enugu State
The Commisioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal has reiterated the commitment of the Command to collaborate other security agencies during and beyond the Eid-el-Fitr and Workers’Day celebrations.
In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Command’s Spokesperson, ASP Daniel Ndukwe stated that, “In line with marking year 2022 International Workers’ Day and Eid-el-Fitr celebration, the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc, has reiterated commitment to collaborate with other security agencies and stakeholders to provide adequate security during and beyond the periods of the commemorations.”
According to the statement, “Accordingly, he has ordered Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers and Heads of Tactical/Operational Units of the Command to ensure the maximum deployment of the human, operational and intelligence assets at their disposal, to visibly patrol and police identified flashpoints, streets and other places of public interest. He cautioned them to ensure that personnel under them conduct themselves in the must acceptable manner, as they will be held vicariously liable for any lapses.”
“To this end, the Commissioner has felicitated with Workers in the State, as they join the global workforce to mark this year’s International Workers Day on the 1st of May; urging them to continue to uphold the dignity of labour.”
In the same vein, the CP congratulates Muslim faithfuls in the State on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan, while wishing them a memorable Eid-el-Fitr celebration. He urges them to keep praying for the peace and security of the State and nation at large.
