74 Deregistered Parties Back Aiyedatiwa’s Re-Election Bid in Landmark Endorsement

In a significant show of support, the Conference of Deregistered Political Parties in Nigeria (CDPPN) in Ondo State has officially endorsed Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his running mate for the upcoming governorship election on November 16, 2024. This pivotal endorsement was confirmed during a meeting focused on Growth, Development, political engagement and enlightenment between with key Government functionaries and Leaders of CDPPN on October 24, 2024.
The Governor was represented by myself and Prof. Simidele Odimayo, Special Adviser on Health. Rt. Hon. Collins Olagundoye, Director of Organization stood in for Engr. Ade Adetimehin, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ondo State.
The CDPP Ondo State Coordinator, Hon. Rotimi Akindejoye,, emphasized the conference’s unwavering commitment to securing an APC victory. The event saw a large turnout of party leaders and supporters from all 18 local government areas of Ondo State, highlighting Governor Aiyedatiwa’s broad base of support.
Despite the deregistration of their individual parties, the conference maintains its organizational presence across 3,933 units, forming a strong network dedicated to mobilizing support for the APC and Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa. This endorsement further strengthens the party’s prospects for a decisive victory, affirming Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership and the APC’s continued drive for progress in Ondo State.
With this alliance, the path to a brighter and more prosperous future for Ondo State appears stronger than ever as the APC heads toward the November 16 polls.
