DEMOLA SERIKI DIES IN SPAIN; ESHINLOKUN SANNI MOURNS, SAYS DEMISE “LEFT A BIG VOID IN APC”

The Deputy Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly and Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Lagos Central Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Wasiu Eshinlokun Sanni has received with rude shock the passing of Nigerian ambassador to Spain, Amb. Demola Seriki in the early hours of today. The late diplomat died in active service of the fatherland at his base in Spain.
Expressing his grief about the shock loss to Trek Africa Newspaper, Wasiu Eshinlokun said: ‘This is coming as a rude shock. Demola Seriki is a very active personality, full of life. A consummate politician who knows his onions, Seriki’s demise has left a big void in All Progressives Congress, Lagos central senatorial district. We will sorely miss him.’

Amb. Demola Seriki had served Nigeria meritoriously in many roles both in Lagos State and nationally. Before being sent on diplomatic efforts to Spain, Amb. Seriki served as a former Minister of State for Defence.
