The PDP has finally reacted to the comment made by the Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, who said that the G-5 Governors will soon close window for negotiation of supporting the presidential candidate of the PDP, going to the 2023 presidential election.

Recall that for several weeks now, the G-5 governors known as the integrity group have said that for them to throw their weight on the presidential candidacy of Atiku Abubakar , the party national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, must resign so that somebody from the south can occupy the space to bring ‘ equity and fairness.’

Recall also that Nyesom Wike said that this January, they will make public who they will support for presidency. In the light of that, Wike is saying that they will soon close the window for negotiation if the needful is not done.

However, on Channels Television during the Politics Today program, Phrank Shaibu, SA Public Communication for Atiku Abubakar reacted to Governor Wike’s comment of closing the window when he said,

“…You may choose to close the window but the door is still there, my candidate Atiku Abubakar is not a criminal, so he does not need to pass through the window, he comes through the door.”
