The event underscored the bank’s commitment to the well-being of its employees and the broader community.

Dr. Adeola Idowu, head of business transformation at Bastion HMO, was among the prominent speakers at the event. With extensive experience in patient care, clinical research, and healthcare data analysis across Nigeria, the United States, and Canada, Dr. Adeola Idowu shared valuable insights into men’s health.

“Taking care of your health is paramount to being able to function as a man. Different companies are coming to do different screenings and tests. Taking care of various aspects, such as mental health and balancing work-life, is crucial to being in the best state and form,” he emphasized.

He praised Access Bank’s proactive initiative, noting the importance of such events in raising awareness and promoting proactive health management among men. Dr. Adeola Idowu concluded with a powerful message: “Take care of yourself to be able to function fully as a man on this day.”

Adding to the depth of the event, Dr. Blessing Idahosa of Redcare Health Services Limited addressed the male staff on the importance of mental health. She highlighted the necessity of patience and stress management, explaining, “You know, it’s very much the ups and downs that help you around any given time. So, how do you handle stress? How do you deal with it? You have to be patient because it is the basis for reflection, whereas all positives.”

Dr. Idahosa’s insights reinforced the need for mental resilience and the importance of maintaining a balanced mental state to effectively manage life’s challenges.
