ABIKE DABIRI FOUNDATION REJOICES WITH MOTHERS IN IKORODU GENERAL HOSPITAL, DONATES CASH SUPPORTS, BUNDLES OF BABY CARE ITEMS TO NEWLY BORN MUMS & INFANTS

New year Surprises walked through the doors of Mother & Child Wards in Ikorodu General Hospital on Saturday January 8, 2022 as Founder Abike Dabiri Foundation, Chairman Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa paid unsolicited visit and donated baby care items and cash supports to Mother & Child Unit of Ikorodu General Hospital.

Warmly received by the top management team of the newly branded Hospital led by Dr Taiwo Hassan, the Medical Director/CEO of the General Hospital Ikorodu, who described the NIDCOM Chairman, Hon. Dabiri as illustrious Daughter of the soil who is compassionate about the welfare & progress of Ikorodu Division.

Speaking with The NewsExtremists and other Community Journalists, Dabiri said the initiative was new and formed part of her activities in supporting birthing mothers and their new born quarterly or annually.

She further disclosed that “we are joining hands with the world to reduce mother & infant mortality rate in Nigeria”.

While doing ward tour round the hospital, Hon. Dabiri surprisingly put smiles on twenty (20) new nursing mothers inclusive of two mothers who enjoyed double baby care gifts & double cash supports for giving birth to twins as at the time of her visit to the Hospital.

Appreciating the Ikorodu General Hospital for the warm reception, she commended the style and leadership of the hospital in giving the General Hospital a world class standard facelift urging the leadership not to rest on their oars.
