The National President of the Afenifere National Youth Council, Prince Eniola Ojajuni, has issued an urgent plea to Nigerians for help in raising the N100 million ransom demanded by kidnappers who have threatened his life.
In a viral video circulating online, Ojajuni is seen with a kidnapper pointing an AK-47 at his chest, begging the public for financial assistance to secure his release. He appeals for donations of any amount, emphasizing that contributions as small as N100,000, N50,000, or N1 million could make a significant difference.
Ojajuni’s abduction, confirmed by the Afenifere National Youths Council, occurred on February 17, 2025, in Abuja. During the kidnapping, Ojajuni sustained a gunshot wound to his buttock. The council has expressed deep sadness over the incident and has called for urgent action from the federal government and security agencies to ensure Ojajuni’s safety.
As the deadline for the ransom approaches, there is growing concern among Nigerians, who are urging swift measures to secure Ojajuni’s release and address the issue of insecurity in the country.
