Residence of Ayemojuba Street in Onipetesi came out in mass to welcome the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government Hon. Akeem Dauda to their community on the commissioning of Ayemojuba Street in Onipetesi in Ikeja Local Government.

Ayemojuba Street is 252 meters long and it has been abandoned for over 40 years while lots of efforts has been made by the CDA, CDC and the people living there to get Ayemojuba Street fixed. The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government AKOD made Ayemojuba Street top on his list among the road he will work-on in his first 100 days in his office.

When talking to journalist the Chairman of Ikeja Local Government Hon Akeem Olalekan Dauda said ” As part of the activities marking my 100 working days in office. Yesterday we commissioned Makide Close, today we are commissioning Ayemujuba Street in Onipetesi community in ward C in Ikeja Local Government.

Part of our resolution is that in our 100 days in office is that we are going to commission four roads with drainages and asphalt. So we have Morenikeji also we have Ayemojuba. So today we are commissioning Ayemojuba Street in Onipetesi.

This street has been there for over 40 years and when we were campaigning in this ward, we promised them that we are going to attend to their needs and most expecialy Ayemojuba Street and to God be the glory today that has become a history.”

Hon Olayinka Saburi the Councillor representing ward C Onipetesi in Ikeja Local Government welcomed everyone to Onipetesi his community

He expressed his heart of gratitude to the Chairman of Ikeja Local Government for the development he has brought to his community Onipetesi. He also thanked the residents of Onipetesi for their cooperation with the Chairman of Ikeja Local Government and the engineer in charge of the project on this development.



Among the people present at the commissioning of Ayemojuba Street in Onipetesi ward C were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Abisola Omisore, the management and Staffs of Ikeja Local Government ably led by the HOA, Mrs. Juliana Taiwo Odubeko, party leaders from across Ikeja, CDC Chairperson, Alhaja Folami, Onipetesi CDA leadsrs and members and a host of others.
