The member of the board of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan has welcomed the trio of AIG Ari Mohammed Ali, AIG Frank Mba, and AIG Yekini Adio Ayoku to Lagos. Their movement to Lagos followed the immediate redeployment of senior officers which was ordered today by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba. People’s Voice News can report that this redeployment affected the newly promoted Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGs).

With this move, AIG Ari Mohammed Ali is now the new AIG in charge of Zone 2 (Lagos and Ogun states), AIG Frank MBA is the new AIG in charge of Force CID Alagbon Lagos, and AIG Yekini Ayoku is the AIG in charge of Maritime Lagos.

 

The trio were previously the CPs of Delta State, Ogun State, and Kaduna State in their respective roles.

In his remark to them, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan noted: “I welcome our new AIGs Ari Mohammed Ali, Frank Mba, and Yekini Ayoku to Lagos. I’m sure that they are bringing in years of knowledge, expertise, and experience to pep up the safety and security in Lagos under their respective purviews. Nigeria’s commercial nerve centre and West Africa’s economic hub, Lagos will under their watch become safer; Lagosians will thrive in wellbeing; and the Lagos State Government will witness a security boost”

 

“I charge them not to rest on their oars. Bigger and better awaits them in the service to fatherland”, Ogunsan concluded.
