The President of the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, Oki Samson, launched “The Iconic Bola Ahmed Tinubu: An Inspiration to African Youths” on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. This event brought together prominent personalities and APC bigwigs in Lagos and its environs.
The 26-chapter book dealt with several aspects of President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s mentorship and discovery skills. Everyone can’t meet the man, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, although through the book The Iconic, we can learn more about him.
According to the Chairman of the Occasion, the Executive Secretary, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun, “The Iconic Man” is a man who believes in mentoring youth and breaking jinxes. He further said no one meets him or has his attention, and it remains the same. He shares his encounter and how meeting him as a high-ranking honourable member a year ago made him what he is today. He applauded the authors of the book for a job well done.
The Iconic was authored by multi-award-winning journalist and publisher of Trek Africa Newspaper, Oki Olatunji Samson, and co-authored by Abayomi Oyelami.
Present at the event are the Executive Secretary / Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, Dr Abdurrazaq Balogun, Chairman of Executive Group and Board Member, Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) who doubles as the chief host, Dr Ayo Ogunsan, AIG Olusegun Odumosu, former Commissioner of Police, Lagos (Rtd.), Chief (Mrs) Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, Iyaloja General of Nigeria was represented by Mrs. Folashade Ogungbuye, Hon Mrs Abike Dabiri Erewa the CEO, NIDCOM (Nigerians In Diaspora Commission), was represented by Mr. Dipo Odebowale, hon Mobolaji Ogunlende, Founder of RAK Foundation and Special Adviser (Special Duties) to the Governor of Lagos State, Chairman of Coker-Aguda LCDA, Hon. Rasaq Ibrahim Olamilekan, National Chairman of Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen (ALGOVC), Aarebinrin Hon. Folashade Olabanji-Oba, Olori Aderonke Erinle, Mrs. Adewumi Margret, Cdr. Esther Uzoma, Unit commander FRSC, Lagos Island, Chief Mrs. Bose Joseph, Mrs. Folashade Oguntoyinbo among others.
Also, the Royal Fathers witness the event. Present are HIM Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ọjájá II) CFR, the Ooni of Ife, who was represented by HRM Oba Olalemilekan Anthony Fasesin, the Aladeokin 1 of Oriade Town, Oba Oloyede Adeyeoba Akinghare II, the Arujale Ojima of Okeluse, Ondo State, and Seriki Alimosho, among others.
