CP Eribo Assumes Duty As Taraba Commissioner of Police

Taraba State has a new Commissioner of Police, in the person of Joseph Eribo.
Before his deployment to Taraba State, the CP was the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations in Kogi State Police Command, Lokoja.
He assumes office as the 27th Commissioner of Police in the State Police Command since its creation on 27th August 1991.
Eribo takes over from the former CP, Yusuf Suleiman.
“The newly deployed Police Commissioner is calling on good citizens of Taraba State for their support and cooperation in fighting crime and criminality,” a statement released by the spokesman of the Taraba State Police Command, Abdullahi Usman, said.
“He is assuring Tarabans that the Command under his stewardship will remain resolute in tackling all forms of crimes toward boosting public safety and security in the state,” the statement said.
