Dangote expressed optimism that the new leadership will spearhead reforms, tackle long-standing challenges, and align with the President’s vision for a $1 trillion economy. He also clarified that his recent remarks about fighting for the survival of his $20 billion refinery were aimed at certain oil marketers and traders attempting to resist economic progress—not the newly appointed NNPC leadership, which he described as supportive of his company’s objectives.
