DIG Mohammed Ari Ali Decorated with New Rank as IGP Egbetokun Lauds His Achievements

Today, the newly appointed Deputy Inspector-General of Police for the North Central region, DIG Mohammed Ari Ali, officially assumed his new role. Family and friends gathered to celebrate this significant milestone. The decoration ceremony, held at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, saw the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, elevate him to the rank of Deputy Inspector-General of Police.

 


The event was attended by notable figures, including DIG Ari Ali’s wife, Hajia Zainab Mohammed Ali, DIG Force CID, DIG Abiodun Alabi, DIG Frank Mba, and other senior officers. Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, a trusted ally and Board Member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), was also present to celebrate this achievement.

 


In a congratulatory message shared with the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan expressed his joy over DIG Ari Mohammed Ali’s accomplishments throughout his policing career. He encouraged him to maintain his dedication to excellence, saying, “Our new DIG sir, I am particularly excited about your growth in your policing career. You have demonstrated excellence from your days as a junior officer to your current esteemed position within Force Headquarters Management. Please continue to give your best to the safety and security of Nigerians, particularly in the North Central region.”

 

Dr. Ogunsan added, “You are a remarkable personality. No two roles are the same. I encourage you to give your 100 percent effort. I wish you all the best in this new phase. May the Lord Almighty grant you the wisdom required to succeed in this new role.”

 

Before his promotion, DIG Ari served as the Assistant Inspector-General of Police for Zone 1, Kano. Recently, the Police Service Commission announced his promotion and appointment as the new Deputy Inspector General of Police for the North Central region, succeeding DIG Ade Ayuba.
