Folake Abiola, GLO Accountant, Commits Suicide in Lekki
Folake Abiola FCA, an accountant with one of Nigeria’s leading communication companies, Global Communications Ltd (GLO), committed suicide last night by ingesting Sniper.
She is known to be a kind person who is very good at discharging her duties and quite professional.
Unfortunately, she is unmarried, has no children, is presently not in a relationship, but participates actively in church activities.
She was believed to have shown little sign of depression lately and was encouraged to seek help by her colleagues until she decided to end her own life yesterday night in her Lekki apartment.
According to reports gathered, her remains have been deposited at an undisclosed morgue in Lekki, while police have begun an investigation into the veracity of the suicide claim.
Nigerians need to seek professional help regarding their situation in life as most religious institutions are not designed or competent enough to tackle mental cases or issues.
Most religious organisations preach prosperity and do not bother with issues of the mind as they are not trained on how to handle such cases.
People should therefore seek help to discuss the challenging areas of their lives without any fear of shame.
