Hon. Obe Oloyede Warns Ejigbo Traders and Marketer Against Paying Any Ticket or Market Fees Till Monday 4th of July

The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, Alhaji Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello (OBE), has issued a strong warning to the market men and women at Ejigbo Central Market, Iyana-Ejigbo, to desist from paying any money to anybody from now till Monday, July 4th, 2022, when he will visit the market.


In a release issued by the executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA read that , ”  Alhaji Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello (OBE)

 

He added that, “This money includes rates to Council Revenue Officers, levy to the Kabiyesi (including the #2,000 for the festive period – “owo odun”), security fee, and any other money demanded by anybody (either government official or individual).” Furthermore, the offices of the “Iya Oja” (female market head) and “Baba Oja” (male market head) have been suspended till further notice.

 

Hence, the Executive Chairman would visit the market on Monday to address the marketers, respond to their questions, and listen to their complaints and comments. He stated that, “Again, no marketer at Ejigbo Central Market, Iyana-Ejigbo, should pay any money to anybody from now till Monday, July 4th, 2022, when the Council Chairman will visit the market.”

Hon. Monsuru Oloyede Obe is known to be a workaholic LCDA Chairman among his colleagues who has contributed to the development of Ejigbo and its environment.
