IGP RECEIVES ECOWAS DELEGATION ON PRE-ELECTION FACT FINDING MISSION TO NIGERIA

The Inspector-General of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, fdc, CFR, represented by the Deputy Inspector-General of Police Department of Training and Development, DIG Danmallam Mohammed, fdc, alongside members of the Force Management Team, received a Pre-Election Fact-Finding Delegation, led by Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan, from the ECOWAS Commission, today October 24, 2022, at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
The IGP while underscoring the neutrality of the Force in the electioneering process, assured the delegation of the preparedness and Commitment of the Nigeria Police Force towards ensuring free, fair, credible and acceptable general elections in 2023.
