Urging the club to continue in its humanitarian services, he noted that being elected does not mean he’s more educated but implies a trusted representative capacity.
He continued, “The club must continue to work together for the fulfillment of the goal of the organization.” Serving the people has propelled us to pursue financial aid to further establish an endurable agenda for the club.
“Rome was not built in a day, but the idea of building Rome must have been conceptualized by people at a given period,” he added.
Before the Club’s award presentation, Lion Babatunde Sayleke introduced a legacy project called “Ikorodu Diamond Lions Club House” to members and guests in attendance.
The undertaking, which he described as a youth activity center, is estimated to cost the club 50 million naira to accomplish.
Inferring that the club cannot attain it all independently, Lion Sayleke pleaded for good-spirited donations towards accomplishing the noble project.
