The prestigious changing of the guard at the Ikorodu Diamond Lions Club on November 20, 2022, was outstanding for a lot of reasons.

At the high point of the ushered-in leadership via the investiture of Lion Babatunde Akadri Adeleke, “Sayleke,” distinct noteworthy characters were awarded based on their positive impact on society to see things improve.
Some were also recognized for their favourable humanitarian services that simply put smiles on people’s faces.
Recipients of awards decorations include the Wadesh Foundation (presented to the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina), the iCare Foundation (presented to its D.G., Mayor Deen Sanwo-Ola), the Omituntun Care Foundation, and the Elizabeth Ebun Dynamic Widows Empowerment Foundation.
Others encompass: Solid Global Foundation, Lion Dr. and Mrs. Aypdele Ajayi (Ajayi Medical Centre), Lady Evang R.A. Babarinde JP., Lion Engr. HOB Lawal PID, and Lion Anogwi Anyanwu, District Governor 404A1.
