With decades of experience enhancing comfort, safety, and efficiency across residential, commercial, and industrial spaces, JMG operates across critical business units including conventional and renewable power, electrical infrastructure, HVAC systems, elevators and escalators, air compressors, and energy-efficient technologies. Its operations are supported by internationally recognised ISO certifications covering quality management, health and safety, and environmental sustainability.
Speaking at the session, Mr. Rabih Jammal, Chief Commercial Officer, JMG, said the International Day of Clean Energy underscores the urgency for Nigeria to accelerate renewable energy adoption.
“Clean energy is no longer a future concept—it is happening now, and it is working. At JMG, we are not just advocating renewables; we are delivering them,” Jammal said.
He cited JMG’s 150-kilowatt solar installation at its Victoria Island head office and multiple large-scale deployments nationwide, noting that the projects have helped clients save millions of naira in diesel costs, improve energy reliability, and significantly reduce carbon emissions.
Also speaking, Ms. Oluwatomi Faniran, Head of Marketing, JMG, described clean energy as a core responsibility embedded in the company’s strategy. She highlighted solar hybrid deployments at NIPCO fuel stations, renewable energy solutions at a government state house, and energy-efficient installations at facilities such as Nourdm Global and Rack Centre, noting that the initiatives have reduced carbon emissions by tens of thousands of kilograms of CO₂ while delivering substantial cost savings.
Providing deeper insight into JMG’s renewable offerings, Mr. Raymond Nwose, Product Manager, Hybrid Power Systems, JMG Solar, explained that the company is addressing financial and operational barriers to adoption through flexible models including Outright Purchase, Lease-to-Own (up to 84 months), and Power-as-a-Service (PaaS). He added that JMG’s engineers are strategically located across Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, Kano, and Port Harcourt to ensure nationwide technical support.
Reinforcing the company’s customer-centric approach, Mrs. Anthonia Ogunsanya, Customer Support Manager, JMG, emphasized the importance of reliable after-sales service, noting that JMG’s 24/7 customer support and technical response teams ensure uninterrupted assistance.
As Nigeria intensifies its sustainability journey, JMG reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its solar and hybrid energy footprint, strengthening strategic partnerships, and investing in innovation and human capital.
The International Day of Clean Energy, observed annually on January 26, was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2023 to promote a just, inclusive, and accelerated global transition to renewable energy.
