JMG Haulage Strengthens Pan-Nigeria Logistics and Haulage Capacity with Major Fleet Expansion
By The People’s Voice Nigeria News
JMG Haulage, the logistics and haulage division of JMG, has announced a major fleet expansion aimed at reinforcing its position as a leading haulage, transport and logistics company in Nigeria. The expansion supports growing demand across FMCG, beverage and industrial supply chains, while enhancing nationwide haulage capacity.
Founded in 2019, JMG Haulage began operations with four trucks serving internal distribution and selected third-party clients. Through consistent service delivery, strong operational discipline and a focus on reliability, the company expanded its fleet to 31 heavy-duty and 16 light-duty trucks prior to the latest growth phase.
The current expansion adds 20 new heavy-duty haulage trucks, each configured as a 24-pallet unit with a payload capacity of up to 45 tons. The addition significantly increases JMG Haulage’s long-haul transport capabilities, enabling it to support large-scale logistics operations across Nigeria.
Commenting on the development, General Manager of JMG Haulage, Mr. Mohamad Dayekh, described the expansion as a strategic milestone for the company.
“This fleet expansion is a strategic milestone for JMG Haulage. It allows us to scale our haulage and logistics capacity nationwide while maintaining high service standards, cost efficiency and safety. By investing in both CNG and diesel technologies, we are strengthening reliability for our customers today while preparing JMG Haulage for a more sustainable future,” he said.
According to the company, the newly deployed fleet follows a mixed-energy strategy, with 10 trucks powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) and capable of covering up to 1,400 kilometres, while the remaining 10 diesel-powered trucks provide operational flexibility across diverse haulage routes.
The fleet rollout was completed in January 2026 following inspection, branding, driver allocation and route planning. JMG Haulage expects monthly operational mileage to increase from approximately 150,000 kilometres to 250,000 kilometres, improving delivery timelines and reducing turnaround times.
Operating on a pan-Nigeria scale, the company serves major commercial corridors across the North, South, East and West, providing haulage and logistics solutions for FMCG, agro-products, chemicals, cosmetics, electrical goods, generators and industrial equipment.
JMG Haulage said its operations are supported by dedicated maintenance teams, OEM-led technical training, preventive maintenance programmes and strict monitoring of cost per kilometre to ensure efficiency and safety.
The company also disclosed plans to expand into cold-chain logistics and invest further in green haulage solutions as part of efforts to align with global sustainability standards and strengthen its position in Nigeria’s logistics sector.
