LAGOS CLUB SHOOTING: POLICEMEN IDENTIFIED AND TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

 

Subsequent to the shooting incident at Club Cubana in Victoria Island, Lagos on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, the Nigeria Police have identified and put into custody the policemen involved in the incident. They are currently being investigated for their involvement in the incident.

 

In the brief press release by the Force PRO, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, today, he added that the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, described the circumstances surrounding the incident as unbelievable. He revealed to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP, that the IGP had also condemned, in the strongest terms, the unfortunate incident.

 

‘Consequently, the IGP has directed the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Abiodun Alabi, to carry out a thorough investigation into the matter and forward his report as urgently as possible for further action’, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi noted.
