Lagos CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi Receives A Birthday Tribute From LSSTF Board Member Ogunsan

Honour to whom it is due, acclaim to whom is deserving of it, the Commissioner of Police in Lagos state, CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi, fdc, mnim, psc deserves all the accolades that will be showered on him from all quarters especially on a day as this being his birthday. His 11 months at the helm of policing in the Lagos State Command has been attended by peace and stability. CP Abiodun Alabi has been praised by the government and the people of Lagos as well as the police officers and rank and file in the Command for his calm but strict approach to security issues in West Africa’s economic hub and Nigeria’s commercial nerve centre, Lagos.
This is why the Member of the Board of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) and Patron of Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Lagos, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan is leading the pack to celebrate the man, Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu personally describes as ‘Mr. Peace’. In his straight-to-the-point laudation of the Ekiti-born police chief, Dr. Ogunsan said: ‘CP Abiodun Alabi has put a human face to policing in Lagos while also promoting community involvement in policing.’
The Executive Trainers Ltd boss added: ‘He has ensured that his cohort in the Lagos State Command thrive to their full capacity, competence, and skill. Everyone wants to win for such a kind of leader so I am not surprised what he has achieved in just 11 months.’
‘I have observed this as his close friend and by virtue of my role which has brought me closer to the security in Lagos. He operates an open-door policy both physically and virtually. He is peaceful, gallant, coolheaded, and a professional to the core’, Ogunsan told newsmen.
On this day, I want to wish him well and pray that he will have more success stories for as long as he stays in Lagos State Command. No stain will spoil his good works’, Ogunsan concluded.
It is noteworthy that CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi who has on many occasions and in various capacities worked in Lagos was returned to the State Command this January 2022. He marked his 11 months as Lagos CP on 23rd December 2022.
