Lagos ready to do more with MoneyMaster – Commissioner

The Lagos State Government has commended MoneyMaster Payment Service Bank for its support and participation in the state’s ‘Ounje Eko’ initiative.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Systems, Abisola Ruth Olusanya, gave the commendation recently when she received the management team of the bank in her office.
The commissioner, who thanked the team for the visit, also expressed appreciation for the support and participation of the bank in the Phases 1 and 2 of the Ounje Eko food market initiative.
She challenged the bank to partner more with the Ministry, declaring that such collaboration will bring more dividends to both parties and also the people of the state through ongoing and future initiatives.
Head, Agency Banking, MoneyMaster Payment Service Bank, Mr. Julius Arhebun, in his response, thanked the Lagos State Government for appointing the PSB as one of the official collection banks for the food initiative.
‘Ounje Eko’ initiative is a periodic food discount market where Lagos residents can buy a variety of food items at a discount of 25 per cent, which is paid by the state government.
Arhebun, who was accompanied on the visit by Dimeji Amao; Head, Merchant and Enterprise Business, Bulus Ayuba; Head, Operations and Olumide Orojimi, Head, Marketing Communications, pledged the support and readiness of the bank for future initiatives of the Ministry.
