Nigerians Await Naira Note Rain As CBN Instructs Nigerian Banks To Retrieve Old Naira Notes Deposited With CBN

As confirmed by reliable CBN sources, banks have been directed to retrieve the old Naira notes they deposited with the CBN, and the country will be flooded with Naira notes by the end of the week.
It was earlier reported today that the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has directed public sector workers in the country to embark on strike beginning Wednesday next week.
Joe Ajaero, NLC president, gave the directive at a media briefing at Labour House in Abuja on Wednesday.
With the instructions from the Central Bank of Nigeria instructing banks to pick up the old Naira note deposited with the central bank, the NLC might call back their proposed strike as planned.
