The Chairman/CEO of Executive Group and Board Member, Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan today congratulated Nigerians, both at home and in the diaspora, on the 64th Independence Day Anniversary of the nation. While hailing the patriotic efforts of the past, he celebrated the resilient capacity of the current crop of Nigerians as Africa’s most populous country continues to match into nationhood, Trek Africa Newspaper can report.

In his Independence remarks made available to Trek Africa Newspaper, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan said: ‘I want to plead with Nigerians just as our President Bola Ahmed Tinubu did in his speech earlier today that as agents of change, we can shape our destiny and build a brighter future by ourselves, for ourselves, and for future generations.’

‘I will add that just as we are resilient, let us be more patient with the developmental policies going on in the country. It will all end up in a brighter future and a greater Nigeria.’

It will be recalled that Nigeria got her independence from Great Britain exactly 64 years ago.
