The CDC Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Pastor Olusegun Fayemi, empowered people in his community with food and cash grants.

This empowerment program took place at his NGO office in Ojodu LCDA. In his interview with Seun Fakoya, the publisher of Ojodu Eye Magazine, Pastor Fayemi said, “I like the idea of giving and it’s in my blood. Looking at what our MHR Hon. James Abiodun Faleke and the Chairman of Ojodu LCDA Hon. Segun Odunmbaku are doing to our community by empowering thousands of people in Ojodu LCDA, I felt challenged by this to add value to what these people are doing. “

“ When I became the CDC Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, I met 31 CDA and to the glory of God, we have 59, and we are still counting. The beneficiaries of this empowerment were picked from different CDAs. We started with 20 beneficiaries, and by God’s grace the number will increase.”

“ I want the beneficiaries of this empowerment to see what has been given to them as a seed; they should plant it and make sure it germinates. I mean, they should use it to trade.”

Pastor Fayemi also encouraged everybody to participate in the ongoing APC Party Registration.
Hon. Folake Adams praised the CDC Chairman, Pastor Fayemi, on his empowerment program. In her words, she said, “This is a superb initiative; the money may look small, but if properly utilized, it will go a long way.
