ORILE AGEGE LCDA CHAIRMAN REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO STAFF WELFARE

The Executive Chairman of Orile Agege Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Idowu Akinola Abiodun, has reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and well-being of all staff members during the Monthly Prayer Meeting which also doubles as his first official meeting with members of the staff at the council secretariat.

Speaking during the monthly prayer meeting, the Chairman assured that staff welfare would be a top priority under his leadership.

He appealed to all members of staff to offer their full cooperation and support to enable the administration to succeed in delivering its mandate. He further encouraged staff to remain diligent and dedicated in the performance of their duties, emphasizing that any complaints or requests should be properly documented and channeled to the appropriate quarters.

In response, the Council Manager, Dr Adekoya Adesanya, expressed gratitude to the Chairman for the assurances given, noting that such commitment would foster a more productive and motivated workforce.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Orile Agege Chapter, Mrs Oshiga Adenike pledged the unwavering support, loyalty, and dedication of all staff members to the present administration. He assured that the workforce would give their best in service delivery and contribute meaningfully to the success of the administration.

The Head of the Human Resource Office (HRO), Mr Akande Opeyemi, equally assured that staff would remain up and doing at their duty posts, maintaining professionalism and dedication at all times.

The immediate past Chairman Hon. Johnson Sunday Babatunde who was the special guest at the prayer meeting implored the staff to support the new administration .According to him,, “success is not one man’s job but the coming together of people who work together toward a shared goal.”

This renewed commitment to staff welfare marks a significant step toward building a more effective and people-centered local government administration in Orile Agege LCDA.
