Primate Ayodele’s Prophecy on Mozambique Election Unfolds with Striking Accuracy
By People’s Voice Nigeria | News
The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has always been distinct in his prophecies. It is not surprising that the outcome and aftermath of the Mozambique election directly reflect the prophecy he shared before the election.
In May 2024, six months before the election, Primate Ayodele revealed in a video and several publications that Daniel Chapo would win the election but face serious opposition against his administration.
In his prophetic statement, Primate Ayodele foretold a political shake-up and urged the country to pray to avoid mourning. He noted that several changes would occur following the election.
He said: “Mozambique: the country will experience economic and political upheaval, and several things will change. The country will improve, but they should pray against disasters. The incoming president will be Daniel Chapo; the opposition will not win. Under his administration, the country should pray not to experience mourning. There will be a gang-up against the incoming president. The currency will depreciate. They must address economic, security, and climatic issues. The incoming president must pray for his health and avoid bereavement.”
This prophecy not only predicted the election winner but also detailed post-election events. How accurate has this prophecy been?
As foretold, Daniel Chapo was declared the winner of the election. However, Mozambique has not experienced peace since the election. Weeks of protests, violence, killings, and unrest have ensued.
In a video commemorating his earlier prophecy, Primate Ayodele noted that opposition would challenge Daniel Chapo when he became president, making governance difficult for him.
He stated: “Mozambique will face serious political and economic challenges. They will attempt certain actions that people will oppose. I have said that Daniel Chapo will be the president of Mozambique, but I warn him that the opposition will come against him and make his government very tough. He will experience ups and downs.”
In fulfillment of his prophecy, fresh anti-government protests erupted in Mozambique after a police vehicle struck a woman at a demonstration in the capital supporting the opposition leader disputing the October elections.
AFP reporters at the scene of Wednesday’s protests said demonstrators hurled stones at security forces, who responded with bullets and tear gas after a woman was struck while standing behind a large banner of Mondlane.
“We demand that Venancio Mondlane be our president because that’s who we voted for,” said protestor Olavio Jose, 24.
Rights groups have accused police of killing dozens of people in post-election protests after authorities declared Frelimo’s Daniel Chapo the winner with 71 percent of the votes, far ahead of Mondlane’s 20 percent.
The Centre for Democracy and Human Rights, a local civil society group, told AFP last week it knew of 65 people killed in police operations against the demonstrations.
