A wave of transformation and spiritual renewal swept through the Expo Centre in Johannesburg on Friday, May 16, as thousands gathered for the much-anticipated Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) South Africa Revival, themed “Holy Spirit Visitation with Evelyn Joshua.”
Led by Pastor Evelyn Joshua, wife of the late Prophet T.B. Joshua and current leader of SCOAN, the event drew attendees from across South Africa and neighboring countries, all united in anticipation of a divine encounter. The powerful atmosphere was charged with faith as many experienced physical healing, emotional liberation, and spiritual breakthroughs.
Testimonies of transformation poured in as individuals battling long-standing health conditions reported immediate healing. Among them, Andrew Makodi discarded his body brace after receiving healing from osteoarthritis, while Rebecca Mathoda found relief from chronic shoulder pain. Stories of emotional deliverance and freedom from generational challenges added to the overwhelming sense of renewal.
The revival culminated in heartfelt praise, led by The SCOAN Choir, leaving many in attendance visibly moved and inspired. For countless participants, the gathering was more than an event, it was a life-changing encounter.

In continuation of SCOAN’s commitment to charity, Pastor Evelyn Joshua extended love beyond the altar on May 19, leading the Emmanuel TV Team on a humanitarian outreach to Madibe, a town in Mafikeng, South Africa. Residents received essential provisions, educational materials, food supplies, and a cash donation of R100,000 to support the community’s welfare. The commissioning of a portable water borehole brought cheers from the grateful community.
With faith and compassion at its core, this revival and charity outreach mark another chapter in SCOAN’s ongoing legacy of impact across the globe.
