SCOAN to Celebrate Global Thanksgiving Service Honoring God’s Faithfulness

By Dare Adejumo

This Sunday, December 8, The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) will host a Thanksgiving Service at its headquarters in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos, featuring soul-stirring songs and praises to express gratitude for God’s faithfulness. The third annual celebration will be held not just in Lagos, but globally, with members and Emmanuel TV Partners joining from various continents.

SCOAN has numerous reasons to celebrate. The church, like many others, was closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Even when restrictions were lifted, SCOAN remained cautious due to the influx of international visitors. Prophet TB Joshua, the church’s founder, chose to keep the church closed until he received divine guidance, ensuring the safety of all.

Tragically, Prophet TB Joshua passed away shortly after leading a symbolic worship at his prayer mountain. Despite the shock and uncertainty, the church found strength and guidance under Pastor Evelyn Joshua. Her quiet yet powerful leadership has steered the church through challenging times.

Pastor Evelyn Joshua, chosen by Prophet TB Joshua, has proven to be a pillar of strength and wisdom. Her leadership has seen the church grow and thrive. Under her guidance, SCOAN has expanded its outreach, hosting crusades and charity works in various countries and rebranding its Akure branch.

The Thanksgiving Service will be preceded by a “Healing and Deliverance Service” on Friday, attracting attendees from across the country and beyond. Pastor Evelyn Joshua’s dedication to spiritual growth and community service remains a cornerstone of the church’s mission.

“We are overwhelmed with gratitude for all that God has done for The Synagogue Church of All Nations,” said Pastor Evelyn Joshua. “His faithfulness has brought healing, deliverance, and countless blessings to our lives. We celebrate His unfailing goodness.”

In the past three years, under Pastor Evelyn Joshua’s leadership, the church has achieved significant milestones, including the rebranding and reopening of the Akure branch, hosting crusades and charity works in multiple countries, and launching initiatives like the Women of Grace Conference and International Youth Conference. These efforts reflect the church’s commitment to spiritual growth and community service.

The celebration promises to be vibrant, with members eager to praise God and express their gratitude. SCOAN stands as a testament to faith, resilience, and the unwavering support of its members.
