STOP PARADING POLICE UNIFORMS – PCRC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN WARNS

The PCRC national Chairman, Dr Faruk A. Maiyama, has issued a sound warning to all PCRC members across Nigeria to stop parading themselves as police officers and also stop wearing full police regalia (uniforms). The aim of the PCRC is to source and provide intelligence information to police. In his statement, it read,

“My attention has been drawn to a photograph of a PCRC Member wearing a police uniform, which is very embarrassing, unbecoming, and unacceptable. I must therefore warn you that PCRC is a civil society organization established by the police to source and provide intelligence information. Its members are therefore not expected to wear any type of uniform. Those using police or other types of uniforms should withdraw such uniforms and stop wearing them immediately. National Vice Chairmen should ensure strict compliance, please.
