Why it’s Imperative for All Our Elected Honourables in the South to Rally Round Dr. Ibrahim Jimoh, CFR
By Odofin Oluwafemi (C-Banking)
The legislative house is a place where sensitive and fundamental issues are being discussed, where laws are made, and where government policies are being deliberated upon.
It therefore behoves all our elected representatives from Ondo south to collaborate with Senator Dr. Jimmoh Ibrahim to harness his intellectual strength, political influence, and connections to clinch strategic committees that would facilitate their delivering of dividends of democracy to their constituents.
Meanwhile, getting viable committees at the National Assembly entails being able to fraternize with the who is who’s and strike strategic connections. Obviously, Araba has the requisite capacity to liaise with the leadership of the House of Representatives.
Today, the most performing House of Representatives member in Ondo State is from the north. He certainly has surpassed the achievements of a senator who served for 12 years, representing the same region. The illustrious man in question, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo (BTO), has been able to link several roads in his local government and liberate numerous youths from the shackles of poverty. He has been able to achieve these laudable feats because of his relationship with the speaker of the house, who made him house committee chairman on NDDC, which apparently has given him a cutting edge, thereby enabling him to deliver ample dividends to his people.
It’s crystal clear that having the right connections would ultimately pave the way for the opportunity to grab juicy and viable house committees at the National Assembly. Araba is rightly available in this regard to speak for all our representatives from the south, which is exactly the reason we all need to rally around him.
Araba has come to provide viable and vibrant representation, and he sure needs our collaboration to succeed in this regard.
