The Executive Secretary/CEO of Lagos State Security Trust Fund, Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun has today, May 1 wished all men and officers of the various security agencies in Nigeria and wished them well on this International Worker’s Day. While praising them for standing strong for the country, he reminisced on their contribution to calming the frenetic security situation both within and outside the shores of the fatherland.

Dr. Balogun lauded the military and paramilitary agencies, ‘I wish all men and officers of the security agencies in the entire country a HAPPY WORKERS DAY. I thank you all for your sacrifices and service to our dear Nation.’

‘Despite the seemingly insurmountable challenges and seemingly thankless situation, you have continued to protect the lives and properties of individuals. You have also protected our national assets and infrastructure while providing a major boost to international security’, he told Oki Samson, President, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP in a brief chat.

The savvy administrator also used the opportunity to praise the individuals, banks, and other corporate organizations who contribute regularly to the Trust Fund. He urged other Nigerians to support the agency so as to bolster security in the nation’s commercial nerve centre and West Africa’s economic hub, Lagos state.

The funding agency, Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) supports various security agencies in Nigeria. This includes Nigeria Police, the Nigeria Army, Nigeria Navy, Nigeria Customs, Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), and Lagos Neighborhood Safety Agency (LNSA).
