Ondo South Electricity Palaver: Senator Jimoh Ibrahim (CFR, Ph.D.) Will Consolidate On Tour De Force of Past Leaders

Against public opinions negating the mindsets of the distinguished Senator representing Ondo South at the 10th Assembly. Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, PhD, has at every fora eulogised the commendable efforts of critical stakeholders who have made frantic efforts towards bringing respites to our ways in Ondo South regarding the perennial power problem bedevilling our common sensibilities.

Previous contributors- individuals, Civil Society Organizations, Pressure Groups, political leaders, Government Agencies, Local, State, and Federal governments—are well celebrated no matter how minute their efforts might be. Our leaders from Ondo South and the state have done their bits, and never shall their actions be thrown under the bus.

Now is not the time to give room to primordial party politics or whatever pecuniary interests are inherent in us as great people desirous of change.

Statutorily, the exclusive functions of members of the NASS are lawmaking and oversight functions. However, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim (CFR, Ph.D.) had made it clear that topmost on his agenda is how Ondo South shall reclaim her pride of place as the industrial hub of the Southwest through a final touch on our power problems, consolidating the efforts of our heroes both dead and alive.

Let’s support the People’s Senator in putting a stop to the hydra-headed monster confronting our collective bargaining.

The unsung song of “Bring Back Our Light” shall be a thing of the past, and there shall be light at the end of the almost 15-year tunnels.
