GFud and Buka Unveils Third Outlet in Agege, Promises Affordable and Healthy Meals

GFud and Buka Limited, a fast-rising indigenous food and catering brand, has officially launched its third outlet at Pero/Otubo Bus Stop, Agege, Lagos State, further cementing its presence in Lagos’ vibrant food service market.
The unveiling ceremony drew customers, community members, and well-wishers, reflecting the brand’s growing popularity and trust, built on quality, affordability, and strict hygiene standards.
Speaking at the event, Miss Fareedah Lawal Garu, Director of GFud and Buka Limited, highlighted the brand’s wide array of offerings, including Nigerian delicacies such as amala, assorted rice dishes, yam and egg combinations, and white rice options, alongside homemade beverages and baked products like egg rolls, sugar and jam doughnuts, chicken pies, breads, and ceremonial cakes for birthdays and weddings.
“We also provide pastries, cakes, signature breads, and special rice orders during festive periods like Christmas. Additionally, we offer outdoor catering services and handle special orders for companies, banks, and corporate organizations,” she said.
Miss Garu emphasized that GFud and Buka operates multiple outlets across Agege, supported by delivery services, with ongoing plans to expand sales networks and improve service efficiency.
Reflecting on the brand’s journey, Alhaja Sonubi Garu, wife of the MD, described the opening of the third branch as a testament to God’s grace and teamwork.
“This is not the beginning, but another phase of growth. Success in the food business requires discipline, capital, personnel management, and a strong commitment to food safety,” she said.
“We don’t add what we cannot eat ourselves. We go natural and organic. That is what makes us unique.”
Mr. Lukman Abiodun Garu, CEO of Garu Technologies Limited/GFud and Buka Limited, described the venture as a family-owned business built on the philosophy of offering good food at affordable prices.
“GFud simply means good food. Our slogan says it all — cheap food is good food when you eat good food,” he said.
GFud and Buka Limited currently operates three outlets in Lagos State:
- Agbado–Ijaiye Road (First Branch)
- Dopemu Road, Papa Ashafa Bus Stop, Agege (Second Branch)
- Pero/Otubo Bus Stop, Agege (Third Branch)
The brand provides dine-in, delivery, and catering services for events and corporate engagements, with plans to expand to more strategic locations across Lagos.
