GOV. AKEREDOLU COMMENDS OSOPADEC NEW MANAGEMENT.
– As Agency Organizes Stakeholders Summit.
Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, represented by his Deputy, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa has commended the Sam Erejuwa-Led Ondo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission ( OSOPADEC ), for promptly organizing stakeholders conference.
Aiyedatiwa gave the commendations while declaring open, the all important stakeholders conference held at Williams Events Center, Igbokoda, Ilaje Local Government on Thursday.
The conference centered on the needs for effective and efficient deliveries on the Agency’s mandate.
In his words, the Deputy Governor said, “this event, I believe is what I will call a NEEDS assessment event as it is meant to take comments and suggestions from stakeholders on the way the Agency will be run effectively and efficiently on its mandates”.
Aiyedatiwa further made it known that Governor Akeredolu desires has been to ensure that, public funds are spent not only in public interest but in accordance with the provisions of the laws.
Appraising the ongoing partnership between OSOPADEC and stakeholders, he said it would provide immense opportunities for value added services in the mandate areas.
While assuring people and stakeholders of Governor Akeredolu’s commitment to value added governance, Aiyedatiwa added that there was the need to ensure favourable cooperation with government and the Agency.
“The Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN as we all aware is determined to change the narrative and bring about the needed development in our Local Governments — Ilaje and Ese-Odo, the mandate areas of this Agency ” , he said.
“This can only happen when we all support this Agency by making value-driven contributions at this event going forward” , he solicited.
