HRM OBA MUHAMMED SALIU, BABATUNDE SALIU, THE OLOWORO II, IGNITE OWORONSOKI AT FIRST CORONATION ANNIVERSARY

The sprawling and riverine city of Oworonshoki was a beehive of activities on Saturday as the ancient town received unprecedented and prominent guests who thronged there to celebrate with the paramount ruler of the town, His Royal Highness, Oba Babatunde Saliu, Elebo ll, the Oloworo of Oworonsoki kingdom, who was celebrating his 1st year Anniversary on the throne.
The carnival-like ceremony attracted the creme de la creme both in social and traditional circles.
The anniversary was climaxed by the conferment of Chieftaincy titles on some prominent men and women in society.
Chief Mufutau Olabimtan and his delectable wife, Abike, were bagged Asoju and Yeye Asoju of Oworonsoki; others are Chief Yusuf Busari and his amiable wife, Ashietu, who were conferred with Borokini and Yeye Borokini of Oworonsoki; and Chief Babajide Yahaya Agunbiade and Chief (Mrs.). Morenikeji Atoyegbe bagged Bobaselu and Yeye oge of Oworonsoki kingdom, respectively.
The anniversary was spiced by the presence of a galaxy of traditional rulers who came to rejoice with one of them.
Oba Sulaimon Bamgbade, the Olofin Adimula of Isheri Olofin, led the coterie, which included Oba Kabir Agbabiaka, Osolo of Isolo, Oba Morufu Adisa Adekunle, Ojoola, the paramount ruler of Ejigbo, and the Olu of Agboyi, Oba Monsur Abimbola Oladega, and other top-notch traditional rulers.
The anniversary attracted prominent people like the Executive Chairman. Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe. Hon. Kafilat Adetola Ogbara, Rep. Kosofe Federal Constituency.
Other personalities at the occasion are Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, M.C. Oluomo, Executive Chairman Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Princess Samiat Bada, Scribe to Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Fatai Gbadebo, Mrs. Adejumoke Animawun, Assistant Secretary, APC Lagos State Chapter, Hon. Oluwafemi Gabriel, Kosofe Local Government Councillors, Supervisors, SSA’s, Management, NULGE, among others.
Two prominent Fuji maestros, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshall and Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, entertained the audience.
