Imo State Government has responded to reports that Its Governor is suffering from a stroke

In response to reports that Governor Hope Uzodinma was being rushed to India for treatment, the Imo State government has denied that the Governor was suffering from a stroke.
Imo State Commissioner for Information and Strategy Declan Mbadiwe Emelumba described the report as “unfounded, malicious, and thoughtless fiction.”
Emelumba called the recorded voice message “dark,” assuring Nigerians that Uzodinma is not only alive and well but has been attending to all of his scheduled engagements in Abuja with vigour and strength.
“Uzodinma is not suffering from any condition that would have resulted in a stroke,” he said. I’m not sure what those spreading this rumour are hoping to achieve. “
The Commissioner warned those spreading the rumours to stop immediately or face total annihilation.
Emelumba urged state residents to disregard the lies spread by mentally ill people seeking attention for nothing.
He went on to say that the situation had been turned over to the proper security agencies, who would determine who was behind the satanic audio recording.
