JMG Marks World Creativity Day 2026 with Impact-Driven Projects Across Nigeria

JMG Limited has highlighted its commitment to innovation and social impact as the world celebrates World Creativity and Innovation Day 2026.
The company said it continues to demonstrate how creativity can be applied to solving real-world challenges, translating ideas into practical solutions that improve lives and strengthen industries. This year’s global theme, “Harnessing Creativity for Global Progress,” aligns with JMG’s focus on engineering-driven innovation for societal development.
In 2025, JMG executed a number of impactful projects across key sectors. At the Agboyi Ketu Primary Health Care Centre in Lagos, the company installed a solar hybrid power system to ensure uninterrupted electricity for essential services, including emergency care, maternity, immunisation, and diagnostics.
Beyond healthcare, the company reported significant contributions to industrial efficiency and sustainability. In partnership with Lambert Electromec, JMG delivered cooling solutions for parts of one of West Africa’s largest data centres, supporting critical digital infrastructure.
The company also deployed solar installations at NIPCO Plc fuel stations, which it said are generating estimated annual savings of ₦44.4 million, while an air compressor upgrade at the Dangote Cement Plc plant improved operational efficiency.
In Kano, JMG completed a power and cooling upgrade for Quick Buy Supermarket, enhancing both business performance and customer experience.
Speaking on the company’s innovation philosophy, Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, stressed the importance of practical impact.
“Innovation must solve real problems. It is not enough to build systems; those systems must improve lives,” he said.
Established by the United Nations, World Creativity and Innovation Day promotes the role of creativity in driving sustainable development and shaping a better future.
JMG noted that the observance reinforces its belief that true creativity extends beyond ideas to delivering measurable impact across communities and industries.
The company’s core expertise spans power generation, electrical infrastructure, vertical transportation, cooling systems, air compressors, and clean energy solutions, including solar and hybrid systems designed to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs.
