The Strategic Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Lagos Strategic Command, ACGN, Abubakar Liman Wali, today received some operational materials (bullet proof jackets and helmets) from the Lagos State Security Trust Fund.
The items were presented by the Director Administration, Mr Degbola Lewis.
The Director stated that this gesture will go a long way in enhancing the safety of NDLEA operatives while discharging their official responsibility in the fight against illicit drug trafficking and abuse.
The State Commander, in his response, appreciated the Lagos State Security Trust Fund for finding NDLEA Lagos Strategic Command worthy of this gesture. He continues with thanking the Executive Secretary and his team by providing logistics to Security Agencies in Lagos.
He said that this will enhance the operational safety of officers in sensitive operations and enforcement driven activities.
He assured the Director that the items would be judiciously put to the use by the command.
