Ezeife A True Nigerian – Tinubu

As Ex-Gov Is Lowered.

President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has described the late former governor of Anambra State, Dr Chukwuemaka Ezife as a true Nigerian who believed in the indivisibility of the country.

Tinubu represented by Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State at the funeral ceremony of Ezeife at Igbo Ukwu in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State said, “Ezeife was a patriot, leader, great bridge builder and an outstanding academic who put justice equity and integrity above any personal interest or desire”.

“He was a pan Nigerian who had the penchant for excellence in whatever he did and believed in the unity and diversity of Nigeria putting into consideration its position as a super power he took everybody as his own not minding your regional or religious origin” he noted.

Recall that a commendation service was held at the International Conference and Convention Center Awka while the body was received at the Government House Awka a similar one was held in Abuja last week.

Speaking shortly after he was lowered the first son of Ezeife Hon Agbachukwu Ezeife said that the family would greatly miss him and his fatherly advice adding that one great thing he taught his children was appreciation.

“We shall miss him greatly and one of the things that we learnt from my father is appreciation but it is the prayers of every father for his children to surpass his achievements and it is our promise that we keep the light shining and go beyond what our father achieved” he said.
