The National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) has commiserated with the family of retired DIG Israel Ajao, who recently passed on.

In a statement released by the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Eric Elezuo, the Association praised the retired DIG for his stainless years in the service, remarking that the officer distinguished himself in the service of the nation, accruing accolades and goodwill among officers and men of the force. The statement further noted that Ajao, though retired still engages in community policing and relations.

“We recognise that until his death, Ajao was excelled in many high profiled positions including the board Chairman of the Neighborhood Safety Corps, Lagos State,” the statement noted.

Expressing his deep condolences, the President of the Association, Comrade Samson Oki, who had a robust relationship with the deceased, recalled how during and after his official service years, Ajao, remained a community based person, personally overseeing the cracking of crimes in his immediate locality, even as he relocated to Ibadan.

“Ajao and NAOSNP have come a long way in synergy and cooperation, and he will be sole missed. His depth of intelligence and forthrightness will also be missed,” Oki said.
