I’m deeply saddened by the passing of Mallam Moyosore Jaji, a political icon, revered elder and astute intellectual in our Constituency.
His consistent dedication to orderly democracy, benevolent party politics, efficient
public service and analytical ideas, contributed in no small measure to the entrenchment of progressive politics in our Constituency and Lagos state in general.
His stint as the Executive Secretary of Ojodu LCDA about a decade ago brought dynamic changes to the LCDA, just as his various strategic contributions to our great party at various levels.
His was a life exemplified by genuine love, light, loyalty, and leadership.
He was a courageous man of ideas and clarity of thoughts who stood for the truth and nothing but the truth.
His demise at this critical time is no doubt a huge blow to our party, communities, and constituency.
We will surely miss him.
It is my prayers that the Almighty Allah will forgive his sins, grant him Aljouna Fridau, and grant his immediate and political families the fortitude to bear this loss.
May his remarkable legacy continue to inspire us and the coming generations
May his fond memories bring comfort and strength to the families he left behind.
May his soul rest in peace, and may his great works keep standing.
