Yuletide Birth Celebration: Ikosi Isheri, LCDA Chairperson Hon. Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, “Mayoress Of Ikosi Isheri,” Celebrates Birthday in Grand Style

It was an atmosphere of birthday celebration in Magodo, where chairmen and stakeholders from different local government areas in Lagos State graced the well-attended all-white and fun-filled birthday party of Ikosi Isheri LCDA chairperson, Princess Samiat Abolanle BADA, “the Mayoress of Ikosi Isheri.”

The mayoress, who was showered with encomiums and words of encouragement by her co-chairmen and well-wishers from different parastatals, gave an account of their relationship with the celebrant in an interview with the press.
Princess Rasheedat Abiodun Adu, the executive chairman, Iru Local Government Victoria Island, who featured at the event, gave an account of her view towards the celebrant, saying mayoress is someone whose character is worth emulating, and she has never regretted knowing her despite having issues as a human but resolving them without stress. Mayoress doesn’t keep malice, she said.
“Today, we have come to celebrate with our friend, a colleague, and most importantly, a friend turned sister.” She is growing older, and if you are growing older, there are a lot of things you have to put behind you. “She should take good care of herself; she should not allow our tedious job to take away the love she has from her immediate family and, of course, extended family.” She added.

Also speaking with our correspondent is APC’s Federal House of Representative candidate for Kosofe Constituency, Honourable Kafilat Ogbara, who reiterated Samiat’s commitment to whatever project convinces her. In her words, she said:
“She is very loyal and committed to whatever she is committed to.” She is a grass-roots politician and a fantastic leader in Kosofe Local Government and at large.
“She is very patriotic in her leadership of the party and to the cause of good governance generally in Ikosi Isheri LCDA.” We love her, and we appreciate her for the wonderful things she has been able to do in the LCDA.
“She has been able to touch a lot of lives in many ways. Governance really is supposed to change the lives of the people; governance ought to improve the infrastructural development of any environment. One must ensure that wherever they find themselves, they have to make a difference in every form and in any way. This is what Princess Samiat Abolanle BADA has been able to bring to local government politics in Ikosi Isheri LCDA.
“I want to pray for her—may almighty Allah continue to give her the wisdom and understanding to always do the right thing.” Whatever her weaknesses are, I pray that God will continue to strengthen her in that aspect. “I wish her the very best, not just today but always.” Ogbara asserted.

High Chief Saheed Olayinka, the Oshorun of Isheri Oke, a royal father from Lagos State who confirmed the celebrant’s attitude towards the people she represents, said the Mayoress is the most generous person he has ever known.
“I have never seen someone as courageous as Mayoress Samiat in my life.” She is very nice and very cheerful. She is very confident—one in a million and a woman of the people.
“I am very happy that I am here today. I want her to keep up the good things people are saying about her. “I pray for her to have a long life and prosperity.” Chief Saheed prayed.
Also at the event are the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, Chairman of Oriade LCDA, Ramotalahi Akiola Hassan, Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe, Chairman of Agboyi Ketu, Honourable Dele Osinowo, Alhaji Balarabe alias Agege Boy, and Hon. Abiodun Aigbe, APC State Treasurer, Lagos State.
